The DTCM was joined by 10 co-participants from the public and the private sectors including Alpha Tours, Al Fajer Travel & Tourism, Destinations of the World, Royal Park Tourism Services, Net Group of Companies, Department of Civil Aviation, Oasis Adventures, Royal Arabian Tours, Desert Adventures Tourism and Al Bustan Residence - Hotel Apartments.
Alpha Tours was chosen among the rest of the co-participants for its innovative approach and excellent display skills. A special memento was handed over to Mr. Adnan Aridi, General Manager, Alpha Tours at the DTCM Head Office recently by Mr. Khalifa Ali Buamaim, DTCM Manager Overseas Promotions and Mr. Saleh Al Geziry. The year 2005 witnessed a 10 per cent increase in trade relations between Dubai and Russia and 38 per cent surge in the number of Russian tour operators featuring Dubai in their itineraries.
